MELODY HU

Melody Hu is an actor, singer, dancer, filmmaker, and multidisciplinary performer with professional experience in theater, film, music, modeling, and commercial work. A UC San Diego Theatre & Dance graduate, she brings a globally informed presence to roles across stage, screen, and live performance.

Made in Taiwan, designed in Silicon Valley, and seasoned in France, she is a multilingual actor with native fluency in English, French, and Chinese.

Her current film projects include Beyond the Barre, her directorial debut documentary featuring dancers aged 50 to 77 who defy physical, professional, and societal expectations in their pursuit of ballet as a lifelong artistic practice; Before Us, an upcoming feature film in which she appears as Agnes; and The Feral Signal, a narrative short she is writing and developing about AI consciousness and the shifting power dynamics between humans and technology.
