Melody Hu is a UC San Diego Theatre & Dance graduate with professional experience in theater, dance, music, modeling, and commercial work.

She is a multilingual actor with native fluency in English, French, and Mandarin Chinese.

Her current film projects include her directorial debut, Beyond the Barre, a documentary featuring dancers aged 50 to 77 who defy physical, professional, and societal expectations as they continue to pursue ballet as a lifelong artistic endeavor.

She is also writing and developing The Feral Signal, a narrative short exploring AI consciousness and the shifting power dynamics between humans and technology.
